Dearest Members, I've had the toughest time of my life these past months: First, I got some immunodeficiency problems associated with arteriosclerosis and accompanying dysphagia and dyspnea and xerostomia... Just as I was recovering from those, I got tuberculosis, double pneumonia and phthisis complicated by appendicitis to be followed by tonsillectomy. Hemorrhoidectomy was indicated by hematopathological and scintigraphical... 

studies. Apparently I had Shwachman's syndrome and they used a sphygmomanometer on me in conjunction with transesophageal echocardiography. Labyrinthine hydrops called for total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, but this could not be performed on men. Then I completely lost my memory for a while as anorexia nervosa, schizophrenia and dementia followed one another while I developed rheumatism and gastritis on top of schistosomiasis.  Well, in the event, I just don't know how I pulled through it all...

 It was the hardest spelling test I've ever had !!

 SOME NEOLOGISMS IN PRESENT-DAY ENGLISH 

 PART TWO 

 GLOBOBOSS  = n. An executive who has the enviable ability to achieve success anywhere on the globe. We might say, "an executive who's at home anywhere in the world and sings the same tune -- that is, profits -- everywhere"...

 IMHO  = In My Humble Opinion = Naçiz Kanaatimce... [an acronym used esp. on the Internet]

 MALLRATS  = n. A collective name used for pre-teens and teenagers who spend their time hanging about in and around shopping malls... You might say to your children: "We don't really want you running around with that gang of mallrats." It is a compound word formed from the roots "mall" and "rat"...

 MEANDERTHAL  = n. The hateful person right before you, esp. when you are in a bit of a hurry on a crowded street, who is dragging his feet and walking aimlessly... The word is blended from "meander" and "Neanderthal"... The implication is that this person is a little "slow of thinking" or downright "dim-witted"...

 NETIZEN  = n. A person who spends a lot of time on and shares a genuine interest in the Internet... One who lives in the "Internet world", or a "frequent user", to say the least... The word is blended from "Internet" and "citizen"...

 POPAGANDA  = n. The kind of pop music that aims to give socio/political messages or to promote particular ideas... A blend of "pop" (popular) and "propaganda"...

 POSTAL  = adj.  Hostile, aggressive and belligerent... Inspired by an observed tendency among postal workers going insane and killing fellow co-workers... Mostly used in the expressions "go postal" or "get postal": Uncle Ben, unable to cope with the building pressure, got all postal in the end...

 PSYCHODRAMATIC  = adj. A blend of "psychotic" and "dramatic", the word means the same: acting in a very peculiar (or, crazy) and overly dramatic manner: "Oh, calm down, will you? Stop being so psychodramatic."

 RETAIL ELEPHANT  = n. A retail business that becomes so predominant in an area as to monopolize a whole neighbourhood...

 ROAD RAGE  = n. Aggressive driving habits often impervious to other drivers' rights and generally coupled with violent and insulting behaviour towards them: "Maybe as much as two thirds of all highway deaths are caused by road rage."
